Merry Christmas everyone! Sadly, I am having quite a lonely christmas this year. First time christmas being single since secondary 1. I just feel super weird now, its not normal to be not going out during public holiday. Wanted to call my friend out but I believe that they will be busy with their dates. Gosh! The feeling just suck!
Was alone at orchard road yesterday. Strolling down the streets, listen to my mp3, admiring the christmas decoration, observing how high people can get hours before the count down and most importantly, trying to soak myself into the festive mood! That was the first time I am doing this and find it quite interesting as somehow the way I look at the decoration seem to be different as what i felt few weeks back.
Went to fetch my sister home from Orchard Hotel where she had her DND before I went to meet Spencer and Eunice. Didn't did much things with them as I met them for less then 30 minute before I meet my other friends of sisha while they meet their friend for their drinking session. Went home around 4 am and started talking to my sister as she prepare for her trip to Ipoh. Slept at 6 plus and was forced to wake up at 1pm by my parent. Had lunch with them and went shopping with them. Most likely I am going to hijack my dad car to go out later. Don't want to stay emo at home.
This weekend marks the closure of the first week in 30 SCE. Indeed it was tough! Didn't participate much in most of the activity as I was on status but still feel exhausted. Think those who had participated the activities felt worst! The camp I was attached to was so much different from Tekong! Had 2 big culture shock in less then 3 month I started serving my national service.
My injury seem worst. My ankle feels pain when I stand longer then 10 over minute. Hope my appointment with my specialist will be earlier. Its really quite painful especially when you are not being able to move to relief the pain. May be I am just heavy and this result in the pain!
Next week will be another short week. Will be booking out on new year's eve. Most likely will be going to Marina Bay for count down party with Marshmallow. It would be fun!

What the hell! I am posted to my unit which is at Jurong camp, super far away from my house! Haven't really heard much positive things about that camp so its like double blow for me as the first blow would be the time I will take just to travel thru and fro whenever I book out/book in.
Wonder why of all the combat engineering camps, I was posted to the one furthest away from my house when there is one just 10 minute away from my house! What more the camp near my house does something related to what I have studied. From my research, its the toughest among all the combat engineer camp. Since 30th SCE split into 2 part, Field Engineer and Plant Engineer, I just hope to be in Plant Engineer as its like operating on heavy equipments. Sounds better then Field Engineer.
My best friend will be joining me in the same camp. At least I know there will be someone who will suffer the same fate as me; traveling from east to west!
So jealous of those who got posted to Khatib camp, Kranji Camp and Air force! Why can't I be like them. Just so jealous!

Went to Changi General Hospital for appointment early in the morning. Haven't been waking up early this few days as I am almost back to my old-self, sleeping early and waking up late. Not just late but super late. My appointment was at 8.45 in the morning and I have no choice but to wake up at 6.45! Lucky its holiday season and therefore there isn't much traffic jam which made my journey there fast.
Went to the sports clinic 15 min earlier then the appointment time. First time I am so early for my appointment. I am always late for my dental appointment till the dentist started nagging. The sports clinic was quite posh for a public hospital and the service was better then what I have expected. Did X-rays and ultra-sound for my ankle and the doctor finally found out the cause of the pain. I have torn my bloody ligament at my ankle area. The doctor gave me 4 weeks of excuse which is super long. This mean I have would have a total 7 weeks of excuses as I had 3 weeks of excuse during BMT!
Yesterday it was my first time doing Ultra-sound and was kind of amaze with it. Studied so much about it and it was my first real life encounter with it. Have to thank it as it was the one who allows the doctor to find the cause. Will be doing my physiotherapy on the 29th of this month.
Met Spencer after my appointment. Haven't meet him for ages since he went to OCS. Went town to look for some stuff before Eunice, Daryl (Birthday Boy) and Cheryl came. Town seem like getting more and more not interesting to us anymore. Rot in town till almost 5 before we parted with Spencer as he need to book in to his camp that very evening while the rest of us went to Bishan. Was suppose to go straight to Daryl's house but we end up in the Arcade playing. After we are exhausted, we went back to Daryl's house to play Mahjong. Lady luck doesn't seem to be beside me as I kept throwing the wrong tiles out, feeding other opponent! I lost the most yesterday!
Think I will be at home the whole day, R n R (Rest and ROT) the whole day. Suppose to have section 4 Barbeque today but postpone to tomorrow. It will be a party in East Coast Park tomorrow!
Another activity for me to do would be saturday. Will be attending Eunice 21st birthday at this Dirty Irish Pub. Quite a unique name for a Pub. First time chilling up in pub along Marina region. May be I will go Powerhouse after the birthday celebration. Think its been a month since I step into the club!

Finally, BMT is over. Going to start unit life very soon as most likely I won't be going to command school as I didn't perform well during this 2 month. But who cares? All I want is quickly ORD. After looking al the calender, most likely I will be starting school almost immediately after my ORD. Anyway, its still long for me to think about it.
Yesterday was the day I graduated from the BMTC school! Sadly I can't join my platoon to march their 24km route march as my ankle have yet to recover. 3 weeks now and I still can feel intense pain after walking some distance. Felt quite happy that 2 months is over but was quite sad that we all are going to be separated real soon. Its really lucky to be in section 4 as we all are close and united. We really look after each other just like a family.
Quite touched that my parents still went for my graduation despite knowing that I won't be participating in the parade. Lucky I manage to spot them fast enough, if not there wouldn't be anyone there to help me to put on my jockey cap.
Started by 12 days block leave now. It just feel good knowing that I won't be booking so soon. What is even better is that tomorrow is my PAY DAY! Really damn poor now. Can't imagine I have to cut down my expenses just to survive my $400 pay. Last time taking cab was like my daily routine but now its considered as an luxury treatment. Pubbing was consider quite a normal day activity but now I am pubbing only like twice a month.

Spend half of yesterday night at Singapore General Hospital. Went there to do my X-ray for my ankle and it took me more then 4.5 hours to complete the X-rays and consultation. Can't imagine I mange to drive myself home safely after being awake for more then 24 hours plus feeling sick. Wasn't really happy with the service at the hospital as the doctor was super unwilling to do the consultation. I told the doctor that I am having cough and my throat wasn't feeling well, all he do was just gave me medication for my cough without asking me whether I have phlegm when I cough. The worst was he completely forgotten that my throat was sore as he didn't even give me any medication for that. He didn't even ask me open my mouth for him to take a look at my throat.
Was quite shock to see my mum still awake, waiting for me to be home safely as she worried that I might not be able to drive home. Felt quite bad to kept my mum awake despite her age.
Tuesday will be the day I end my 2 months for my BMT! Most likely I will be posted to unit as don't think I will be going for any command school. Isn't interested to be a commander anyway thus it won't really bother me. Just hope I would be posted to a good unit! 8-5 would be the best! Will be starting my next phase of my army life on 21st this month. Prior to the second phase of my army life, I am going to have a 12 days leaves! Going to take a good rest at home.
Wonder I should go out tonight? Feel like going out but my wallet don't allow me! Left with only 100 dollar in my bank to last me till the next pay day! Not even sure whether my pay day would be on the 10th or 23rd of this month. Hope it could be on both days of the month! I need a pay rise!
