Finally I receive the letter from NTU. Earlier then expected and was working when my mum called, inform me about the letter and ask for my permission to open the letter to read. Was expecting Environmental Engineering from NTU but the course they offer me was CHEMICAL BIO-MOLECULAR ENGINEERING!
It was better then what I have expected as the GPA cut off point for last year was around 3.81 and the GPA I use to apply is only 3.71. Was planning to accept NUS offer as I thought that NTU will offer me the same. I definitely WILL accept the NTU offer and study CBE. Was talking to Jia Jun about if he also offered CBE in NTU, we will accept that offer!
Today is my only off day for this week as Friday I still need to work at Vivo. Had been working at Takashimaya for the past 3 days and the place was great. The crowd there have better buying power then most of the other crowd patronizing other departmental store. The lancome staffs there were fun as we joke most of the time.
Had 2 super funny things happened while I was working there. The first event happen when i was making phone calls to customer about their redemption when we started to laugh uncontrollably. The reason why I started to laugh was because the face which Irene show me while she claims that she had very sweet voice when she was young was super humorous. After the phone call ( hoping the customer won't be offended), Irene was telling us about telephone skills and she started to make the phone call. She started to laugh controllably when she started greeting the customer. The whole scene was comical!!!
The second thing happen on the same day as well. My customer which I had serve the previous day came back and purchase whole range of Hydrazen and 1 perfume. While I was packing his stuff, his friends (all of them are chinese tourist) start to flock around the counter started to ask many question. Everyone started to ask at the same time, making me in a state of trauma till I am super lost. In the end, the whole group bought from me about 5 full hydrazen range and 2 perfume which add up to around 2.6K!!!! The best part was one of the aunty start to flirt with me! While she was talking to me, Nicole started to laugh which result in my also breaking into laughter while serving the aunty. Since the aunty was flirting with me, i decide to flirt back!! It seem the aunty was even happier. Now I know that i still have some value!
Fun time working at Takashimaya but quite stress as i was working with Nicole, a pregnant lady who was carrying Caslyn's God-daughter. Firstly, I am super clumsy and was afraid to knock/push her or even frighten her. Its already stressful working with a pregnant lady and it was even stressful as she carries Caslyn's God-daughter!
Will be going to have my grandma's birthday celebration this Saturday. Suppose that it will be a boring event as my paternal side relative all super boring! YAWN! Will be having the dinner at Crystal Jade @ T3 as it is a Shanghainese Restaurant. Hope the food will be authentic. Felt quite weird that I don't even know much of Shanghainese food despite I am one. A failure!
Tomorrow I will wake up very early and go and pray to my deceased cousin at Mandai before going to work. Wanted to work mid-shift for some reason but Christine just don't want to change with me. SAD!
